Our Story

Neighbour Choco Bean Pty Ltd began with a simple idea: that genuinely good chocolate and baked goods should be made the way they are at home — slowly, honestly, and with ingredients you can pronounce. What started as a small kitchen operation between neighbours in Melbourne has grown into a dedicated artisan food and bakery business serving cafés, retailers, event planners and households across Victoria.

Every batch we produce is tempered by hand, baked fresh, and checked before it leaves our kitchen. We keep our production deliberately small so that quality never has to compete with volume. Our beans are sourced from growers we know by name, our butter and flour come from Australian suppliers, and our recipes are tested until they earn a place on the menu.

The name says a lot about how we work. We believe in being a good neighbour — to our customers, our suppliers, and the local community that supports small-batch makers. That means fair dealing, honest labelling, clear communication, and products we are proud to put our name on.
